Melliennium Hope International (MHI), a Christian faith based institution in Liberia, is expected to launch a civic education program in Liberia.
MHI was founded in 2007, and has over the years provided education opportunities for young people and underprivileged Liberians.
Making the disclosure to Bong TV, Mr. James Ballah, head of Civic Education of MHI, said the initiative is part of efforts to give Liberians insight about the importance of voting leaders that care about the well-being of the ordinary people.
The MHI civil educator wants citizens of the country to be courageous about electing officials of government to public positions.
James Ballah said the intiative when launched will impact the fifteen political subdivisions of Liberia.
MHI as an indigenous multi functional Christan organization, aims to give freedom to captives, salvation to the lost, and support to the disadvantaged people of Liberia.
Also speaking the Executive Director of Melliennium Hope International Mulbah Soloyanwollie narrated that the Civic Education project that is underway to be launched by his institution is to promote peaceful democracy across the nation.
MHI according to him, remains committed to protecting the good image of Liberia, adding that all Liberians should prepare to participate in the process.
Mr. Soloyanwollie who is a son of Lofa County said the endeavor has no political intention and he is ready to promote the country democracy by providing electoral civic education to Liberians.
He used the media engagement to appreciate members of his organization for their tireless efforts and services they continue to provide for their country.
