Mr. Nelson Logao, a father of four children and resident of district #5, Nimba County has launched a passionate appeal and SOS call to all well-meaning Liberian, philanthropic humanitarian organizations, politicians, and religious leaders across the country to help him undergo medical surgery abroad.
Mr. Logao is currently suffering from Jab tumbler which had subjected him to extreme pain and society exclusion, posing a serious setback to him being unable to care for his family.
“I am dying in serious pain. I can’t sleep. I can not do hard work and because of that I am finding it difficult to support or feed my family. My wife and I survive on farming activities to support our home.
My children are in school but since this sickness came on me things are really hard for us because only the woman is hustling. I am appealing to people to help me go for surgical treatment outside the country”, tearfully, he said.
Narrating the genesis of his illness, Mr. Logao while explaining his name odeal stated that it all started in 2006 with toothache causing him to apply several toothache medications, but yet no solution, rather the pain continued to excruciate causing him sleepless nights.
Tatum is one of the 58 towns in Buu Yao where inhabitants depend on Cocoa farming for survival.
Mr. Loga further indicated that because of the little produce his wife is producing, which he described as insufficient to take care of his family need, has caused him to go to bed on an empty stomach for some months.
He finds it difficult to eat because of the illness and insufficient food supply at his home.
“I have visited several native doctors, clinics and some hospitals, spending lots of money but my situation is yet to improve. I am really suffering because I have no sleep and I can even eat.
This is really hurtful. I can do nothing in my home as a father and man. They told me that I need surgery outside the country to save my life” he stressed.
