The Liberia National Police Bong county detachment has announced several arrest have been made in connection to the death of 26 years old Emmanuel Kerkulah in Gbarnga.
The disclosure was made on Super Bongese radio program called “Digging Deep ” Tuesday August 23, by Mr.Fasu V. Sherrif , the commander of Police in Bong County.
Those arrested include ; Charles P. F. Mulbah and Flomoson Garpai , thus making it four the number of arrests made by the LNP investigators.
Preliminarily, police arrested Elizabeth Kollie, girlfriend of the late Emmanuel Kerkulah and Numene Brown as suspects but later released Numene due to testimonies by the Witness Ezekiel Kpalilah ; thereby exonerating him from the entire saga, while the rest have been charged with MURDER according to section 14.1 of the Penal Code of the Republic of Liberia and sent to court for trail.
It can be recalled that on Friday August 12, 2022 at 600hrs, 26 years old Emmanuel Kerkulah was found lying unconscious in the bush near the Gbabea in the Sugar Hill Community an area around the Old Facebook entertainment center in Gbarnga.
According to police report of which copy is in the possession of Bong TV, Based on the information from reliable source, a team of police investigators headed by Bong County Police Chief of operations Sup. Vanyaga Konneh immediately responded to the scene and the information was confirmed.
Victim Emmanuel Kerkulah was photographed and rushed to the Phebe Hospital in Suakoko District where he was pronounced dead by heath workers on duties upon arrival.
The situation brought a total standoff in the city of Gbarnga with many calling for justice into the death of Emmanuel Kerkulah. Commander Fasu Sheriff has assured a full-scaled fact findings in order to serve justice and called family members and friends to remain calm. Investigation continues.
