There is a saying that says, ‘election is number’, and if a politician will let just a single number leave his or her camp it becomes difficult for that person to win that election, because as they leave that camp, they automatically going to support someone against you.
This is what’s happening in Bong Country electoral district #4.
Over the weekend in Gbarnga, media men were called to an elaborate press conference at which time one of the leading political Team within that district chairman and some supporters resigned.
Jefferson K. Page, chairman of ‘Team Larsah’ and some supporters of Liberian politician Mr. James Flomo Larsah, a representative aspirant resigned from the team.
Team Larsha chairman in Jefferson K. Page while reading the press statement outlined that Mr. James Flomo Larsah has “poor leadership ability, lack of vision to lead the district and the team, lack of patriotism and as well lack of political connections” .

“My fellow citizens of District #4 Bong County, on this 18th day of December 2022, I like to present before you my resignation from Team Larsah as Chairman”, he noted in a heavy tone.
In a six count document, Mr. Page told newsmen that Mr. Larsah as a politician has gone in the district to use cash violence to win the district seat, something he said lead to his resignation.
He however accuses Mr. Larsha of sharing people personal information with team members.
“For example, if sister X has come to Mr. Larsah confidentially for help, instead of helping and keeping sister X information, Mr. Larsah will prefer sharing sister X personal information with people who may not keep her information but carry all around”.
Such a man cannot be trusted with our district. The reason why he does things this way is because he’s not a political figure, he said.
“The truth is, I cannot blame him for that because Mr. Larsah have lived in the diaspora for a very long time without knowing that he has a home but could only remembered his root while nearing the age of retirement in the US and feels Liberia is a retirement job provider.
Mr. page has however, called on citizens of the district to vote wisely in the coming election, adding that “yesterday mistakes should not be repeated”.
“I would also like to use this medium to admonish you to please examine all of the aspirants that are asking you to give them your votes in order to avoid the mistakes of the past”.
He and his followers are yet to pledge support but disclosed that they will consult with voters and in a later day they will make a pronouncement of the support to a particular candidate.
When contacted, Mr. James Flomo Larsah told bongtvonline.com that he only saw a press statement been read by Mr. Page and his team will make a public statement soon.
