Bong County District #6 Representative Moima Briggs-Mensah has dedicated over five projects within Zeansue Clan Salala District.
Rep. Briggs-Mensah praised the Zeansue Clan citizens for their level of support and dedication thus far since she took over as representative in 2017.
Speaking during the ceremony on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, she cautioned the residents to manage and maintain the projects as she anticipates doing more for the district inhabitants.
“The Zeansue clan project dedication is one of many that have been dedicated around the district throughout the years”, according to the Bong County lawmaker. She also urged county residents, especially those in the district, to band together for the county’s growth and development, stressing that nothing in the county should be politicized.
Other dedication includes Kolila Administrative Building, Kolila Motorcyclists Terminal, Garpee-TA Town Hall, and Dufan Women Center. However, Rep. Mensah revealed that the district’s sole community radio station, Salala Broadcasting Service (SBS), which has been down since 2011, will be finished and handed over to the district residents by 2023.
Rep. Mensah claims that the station’s equipment is ready, engineers have finished their evaluations, the building will begin in early December, and the official dedication ceremony will take place in early 2023.

The lawmaker’s remarkable and exemplary leadership, according to the commissioner, has opened the path for several women and girls in the district throughout the years.
As Commissioner Reeves pointed out, the Lawmaker’s excellent leadership has given adolescents and young adults opportunities throughout the district.
She called it an eye-opener for women in leadership across the country. The Salala District Commissioner vowed that the gesture would be used for its intended purpose and urged other county legislators to follow the District Representative’s lead.
