Liberia’s Deputy Minister for administration at the Ministry of Public Works, Joseph P. Todd through his political Team , “Team Todd ” has donated six bundles of Zinc with 10,000 Liberian Dollars to the administration of the Koryah Public School in Panta district #4, Bong county .
The donation, according to Min. Todd was in fulfillment of a commitment he made during the climax of this academic year at the institution when he served as keynote speaker.
It can be recalled that a month back, citizens of Panta district experienced a heavy storm disaster affecting residential areas and public facilities with the Koryah Public School being of no exception.
The heavy storm badly affected the school building, de-roofing it and breaking a portion of the structure.

The situation brought total sorrow to the struggling parents who cannot afford to send their children to school in nearby communities, especially at a time when schools are about to open for Academic 2022-2023 in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s calendar.
“After serving communications to several sons and daughters of the district including the lawmaker for assistance to reroof the building, Hon. Joseph P. Todd through his able team was intelligent enough to commit Six bundles of zinc as requested and has come subsequently to fulfill that within three weeks” a prominent resident who received the Zinc and 10,000LD on behalf of the community told Bong TV news in Koryah during the donation.

He commended the Deputy Minister for living up to his commitment; thus promising to support his political endeavor in the district.
Koryah is a town in Panta district situated near the border between Liberia and Guinea in Northern Bong County with approximately 300 school going children.
At the same time, the Public Works Deputy Minister donated 100 bags of cement to the people of Favay along with 15,000LD in an effort to do rehabilitation works on a deplorable hill along the Favay-Naama highway.
The Minister also moved to Mbellequah to attend a closing program where he presented 20,000LD to the volunteer teachers at the public school in Mbellequah, and 10,000LD to the watch Forum Team in order to motivate them as they strive to protect our communities while promising to build a hand pump in the community.
Beneficiaries of the different donations in separate remarks gratified Minister Todd and his team for being so supportive to them and for always coming to their cries.
