“Justice delayed, is justice denied” so the saying goes.
It was on Saturday October 1, when tens of thousands of youngsters under the banner “United Methodist Young Adults Fellowship”, a unit under the Liberia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church of Liberia including family members, sympathizers and friends of the late N. Abraham T. Mulbah matched through the principle streets of Gbarnga to the headquarters of the Liberia National Police (LNP)With Placards bearing the inscription (Justice delayed, is justice denied), chanting the slogan “we need justice” joined parents of the deceased to claim the attention of the Ministry of Justice through the office of Bong County Att. Jonathan Flomo and the joint security in Bong to promptly commission an impartial, unbiased and a comprehensive probe into the death of the late N. Abraham T. Mulbah.
The United Methodist Young Adults Fellowship is a Christian organization most especially a Sub-segment of the United Methodist Church of Liberia comprising of young people from 20 districts and 2 circuits across Liberia’s Episcopal area and they between the ages of 24_35.
The justice match was climaxed with a petitioned ceremony that was witnessed by designated personals of the Ministry of Justice and other concerned citizens of Bong County.
Reading the statement on behalf of the family and the Young Adults; Mr. Emmanuel Kpon Saye, the president of the 19th annual conference of the United Methodist Church, called on the judiciary sector of Liberia through its Bong County branch to launch a search for perpetrator (s ) in order to face the full weight of the law.
Accepting the Petition on behalf of the Ministry of Justice, the regional Commander of Police in Bong, Col. Morris Tema expressed sadness over the situation and affirmed the security apparatus’s commitment to bringing the perpetrators to justice; citing that a search had already been launched.
He called on citizens of Bong and Liberia at large to remain calm and give ample time to the LNP to do proper investigation.
It can be recalled that bongtvonline.com reported recently that N. Abraham T. Mulbah, a recent graduate of the government run Dolokelen Gboveh high school was on Wednesday September 28, 2022, discovered dead along the Kpayah-Kornee route in Jorquelleh electoral district#3, at about 5pm local time.

Following a tip-off, the Liberia National Police Bong County’s detachment through the Crime Services division dispatched a team of investigators to ascertain the cause of Abraham’s death. Upon arrival on the incident’s scene, fifteen men juror was set up under the directive of the police to conduct a comprehensive examination as required by law, to establish the actual cause of the unfavorable situation.
When concluded, the fifteen men juror report indicates that Abraham’s neck was broken with several bruises on his head: thereby resulting to his untimely demise.
Though Police is yet to release findings of its preliminary probe, our reporter who visited the incident scene, gathered from passersby that Abraham Mulbah, as a motorist, was hired by two grownup men who said they were going to Kornee, a goldmine in electoral district#4, Bong County. This makes two the numbers of graduates of the Government run Gboveh high school who have died within a month period.
Investigation continues.
