Special Statement
Dear Citizens and Friends of Bong County:
It is our pleasure to extend our warmest greetings to you all.
Many of you may be aware that the Bong community has been embroiled in controversy as a result of the poor decision of Mr. Samuel Sondah administration and Natt Dakagboi Board of Directors for illegally moving the 2020 national convention from Pennsylvania, the original host, according to the Kentucky 2019 convention to Minnesota.
Due to this, Pennsylvania and Minnesota held parallel conventions, resulting in two different leaders being elected. Since then, our community has been torn apart for the last two years and it has affected longstanding friendships, relationships, and family.
Several prominent citizens, former presidents, and prominent friends, tried to resolve the problem, but were unable to do so. There were two parallel conventions in June, one in New Jersey and one in Rhode Island. The calls for peace and unity in our community have been alarming and deserve attention.
A few weeks ago, Senator Prince Moye of Bong County contacted us while on a trip in the United States. He expressed concern regarding the conflict that has been raging within our community for quite some time now and he extended us an invitation to attend a conference in Delaware. We accepted the invitation from Senator Moye to attend the conference.
The conference was held on Friday, October 21 at about 5:00 PM EST and it was presided by Senator Moye. Presentations were made by both sides. Following a lengthy and tense discussion, Senator Moye and the citizens present appeal to us for the sake of peace and unity in our community. We accepted the appeals of the Senator Moye and the citizens of our beloved county to move our community forward.
We want to make it known that this teachable movement for and the impasse of parallel organization have ended in our community.
We have recognized the leadership of Mr. Caimon Kollie as the President UBCAA.

We, the National Bong County Association in the Americas (NBCAA) wasn’t about individuals, especially Mr. Caimon Kollie and Dr. George Toto, but about the processes and poor leadership of Mr. Samuel Sondah and Mr. Nathaniel Dakagboi.
We, the National Bong County Association in the Americas (NBCAA) and its leadership have resolved to put our citizens, county, and unity of the UBCAA above all else and hope, never again in the history of UBCAA, unilateral decisions by its leadership will repeat the mistakes of the past, especially elections of officers of UBCAA by single chapter of our cherished organization.
Let’s celebrate the unification of UBCAA, peace, reconciliation, and unity purposely as a victory for our citizens, UBCAA and Bong County.
Therefore, we the former officers, supporters, friends, and partners who supported us to defend the constitution, rule of law of UBCAA to consider the peaceful resolution of the leadership crisis as victory for all our citizens. As we move forward in peace, unity, and reconciliation, let’s all refrain from fingers pointing and blaming anyone for the impasse.
We’re ready to support UBCAA, Mr. Caimon Kollie’s and programs of the association. We shall all assemble at the next convention of UBCAA.
Let’s keep working together!
Thank You All. One Bong County, One UBCAA.
Dr. George Toto
