Bong County District #4 representative hopeful Dr. Emmanuel Urey Yarkpawolo has said his ambition to contest the district highest seat is driven by his aspiration to take the district to another level.
Mr. Urey Yarkpawolo named improved education, sustained agriculture and good health delivery as top priorities on his developmental agenda if he is elected as representative of the district in the upcoming 2023 presidential and legislative elections.
He made this known during a huge welcoming turnout by scores of citizens in Urey’s Village, Gbansu and Shankpallah to celebrate Liberia’s 175th Independence Day. The event was followed by a we’ll attended children party.
According to him, he wants citizens of the district to regard him as the only alternative if they want to see a better and improved district #4 at the 55th National Legislature beginning 2024.
Many citizens who spoke in separate remarks believe Dr. Urey-Yarkpawolo is among the top three (3) contesting to unseat incumbent representative Robert Flomo Wombah.
Speaking further he vowed to provide an inclusive leadership that everyone will be a shared beneficiary under his administration.
The Gomue native meanwhile described himself as the best and only alternative, lamenting that district #4 at the National Legislature has been left behind in terms of development, to include education, agriculture, good health care, security, and good leadership by past and present leaders in the district.
