The Liberia National Police (LNP) has with immediate effect launched investigation into complaint filed by former Liberian diploma Amb. Osman Dukuly against his sister Ms. Bindu F. Dukuly for allegedly and unilaterally leasing their family’s house to a foreign doctor without informing the family.
On November 15, 2022, the former Liberian Ambassador to Sierra Leone, through a written communication to the Liberia National Police, Ashmun Street deport, in Monrovia, that their property on the Payne Avenue, Sinkor was leased to a foreign doctor by his sister Ms. Dukuly without the knowledge of the family.
‘’I was sharing a house on Payne Avenue, Sinkor with my sister Ms. Dukuly and three others, until I heared about two years ago that Ms. Dukuly, my sister had ordered the house broken down without my knowledge and consent’’, he noted in his complaint.
After living in the house for few years, according to him, he was forced to move out on the morning of April 1977 incident.
Moreover, Amb. Dukuly noted that their younger brother then moved into the house and stayed there until his death a few years later.
Continuing, he indicated that his sister, Ms. Dukuly afterwards moved into the house and prior to her moving, she was allegedly seen with a ‘’juju man” digging up juju she planted at the back of the yard..
In his communication, he stated that his sister also leased the house to a foreign doctor, mentioning that he knew nothing about the lease agreement nor the amount of money paid to her.
