During the weekend Amb. Joseph Nyuma Boakai engaged Nimba citizens to increase the margin ahead of 2023, when he toured the city as part of efforts in strengthening the Unity Party.

The UP Boakai Standard Bearer participated in series of programs on September 24, among them was a program organized by the  Nimba Movement to Elect Boakai “NIMEBO”. The movement comprises of people from different political persuasions in Liberia,

While in Nimba, Joseph Boakai participated in three major events which included, the induction of officers of NIMEBO and received partisans from other political institutions who declared support to the UP.

Taking to his Facebook account on Saturday morning, Boakai said he was overwhelmed by the massive wave of voluntary support from Liberians of different political backgrounds, stating that he is convinced that 2023 will be different and in his favor.

“As Standard Bearer of Liberia’s leading opposition party, be assured that we will leave no stone unturned to ensure that Liberia is redeemed”, he maintained.

I am fully energized for this moment. Get on board and we’ll make history together, Amb Boakai added.

UP Standard Bearer termed the Coalition for Democracy Change (CDC) as a complete irresponsible government and at the same time disclosed that the UP will not sit and allow the countr be given to irresponsible people for the second time, because the image and future of Liberia and Liberian is at stick.

“We will not sit down, and this country of you people be given to irresponsible people again, who will give you promises and can’t do it”, Mr. Boakai emphasized with cautioned.

Speaking further the former VP indicated that it is very sadden that the government officials are sanctioned for” dry face corruption”, wondering that where in the world have such thing happened to the country’s officials to be sanctioned.

Continuing, he told the gathering that the CDC government came from nowhere and some are even having foreign passports that to travel after stealing from the Liberian people of what should have benefited them.

“I will turn this around. Three years after my accendency to the presidency Liberians will see a new Liberia. I am not just talking it but this is serious. we know what to do and what is out there. People will not take their resources and give it to people who think about themselves”, Amb. Boakai further mentioned.

At the same time Mr. Boakai vowed that the CDC government will account for all their corrupt activities, noting that he Boakai will make sure that the past governments are audited by his government when elected.
