According to the Liberian Leader, the skipping Annex will enable young people who have interest in Skipping in the country to practice; he noted that scrapping is part of the regular exercise for both youths and young adults in every part of the World.
Scrapping according to the Liberian Chief executive is essential as such there is a need for scrappers to have a specific area at the Invincible Sports Park.

He at the same time caution Officials of the Scrapping federation to manage and maintain the Annex for the improvement of the beautiful sport.
Also Speaking at the dedicatory ceremony the Minister of State Without Portfolio, Trokon A. Kpui, said the establishment of the annex derived from skippers using the driveway for practice on a daily basis something he described as unfortunate taking into consideration the risk involved with vehicles entering and leaving the premises of the park.
Minister Kpui, narrated that he was instructed by the Liberian chief executive President George Manneh Weah to identify area around the park for the construction of an annex for skippers.

The skipping annex at the Invincible Sports Park was constructed by the engineering department of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL).
