The Nationwide 12th graders of Liberia turned out in huge number at the Paynesville City Hall on Friday February 3,2023, in honor of President George M. Weah for his WASSEC fees payment initiatives for all 12th graders across the country since 2018.
But the Liberian president George M. Weah has since called for the proponent of the program through the Chief of Protocol Office.
Speaking to cross section of senior students at the Paynesville City Hall, the national chairman of the Nationwide 12th graders of Liberia, Darlington W. Karnue, Jr. said, the program was intended to honor President Weah for his unwilling support to education especially his commitment to the WASSEC fees payment initiatives in Liberia.

Mr. Karnue explained that his organization will make sure to draw the attention of President Weah specially to build a modern students center with computer, reading room, DSTV and playground for realization of students after school and weekend.
He further extends his apologies to all 12th graders and school administrators for the disappointment but promised to contact the office of the president of a new schedule for the event.
However, several senior students on Friday expressed frustration in president Weah’s action .
