The former ruling Unity Party from July 26 – 29 2022 held its National Convention in Gbarnga, Bong County at which time the party replaced its National Chairman and Secretary General, Amin Modad and Mo Ali.
Rev. Dr. Luther Tarpeh won as the new Chairman of Unity Party while Amos Tweh as Secretary General Post.
Following the induction ceremony on Friday, July 29, 2022, Unity Party Chairman elect Rev. Dr. Luther Tarpeh said his leadership will not be seen as Monrovia based leadership but instead engage in programs and activities that will create a level playing field for partisans of the Party and other Liberians across the country.
“Our leadership will unite the party, engage in programs and activities that would impact the lives of the Liberian people and will not be seen as a Monrovia based leadership. Within the next fifteen months, we will begin with a county tour and interact with our people”, UP Chairman assured partisans.
The Reverend turned Politician pointed-out that Liberia has degenerated in status and values within five years under the CDC leadership as he further assured Liberians that his leadership will work tirelessly to rescue Liberia comes 2023.
Rev. Dr Tarpeh is the President of Best Brains International University in Paynesville, Robert International Airport high way.
