After spending about 48 days in foreign land, Liberian President George Manneh Weah on Monday December 19, returned to the Country following his visits.
Several supporters of President Weah including members of the Coalition for Democratic Change lined up in their blue and red berets and t-shirts to welcome him.
“We are not tired, if you are tired, go to Guinea sand we’ll still vote him in 2023”, they chanted slogans of support for Pres. Weah and his bid for a second term.
On his official visit, the Liberian leader joined other African Leaders for a called meeting/Conference with US President Joe Biden to redefine support to African Nations.

On the sideline of his visit, President Weah also had meeting with several Liberian in different states in Washington DC.
He also had the opportunity to watch his son Timothy Weah make his debut in the FIFA World Cup.
As he returns into the country the debate is getting high, as opposition community keep asking for the dividend of his prolong visit .
Many Liberians including Civil Society Organizations raised eyebrows over the prolong stay of the President out of the country, noting that it stalled the signing of key legislations to enhance democracy in Liberia.
