The Organizers of the 2022-23, National County Sports Meet have vowed to resist government officials entering the teams’ dressing rooms during the second phase of the competition.
Making the disclosure on the Thursday edition of the OK Morning Rush, Deputy Sports Minister G. Andy Quamie acknowledged that any official of government including Representatives, Senators, and Superintendents amongst others should visit their teams while on camp at their various hotels but going to the dressing rooms during matches will not be allowed anymore.
According to Minister Quamie, Government officials entering the dressing rooms in past brought serious embarrassment to both the players and the organizers, adding that, the dressing rooms are only meant for technical people.
The Deputy Sports Minister, is at the same time, urging officials of government to purchase their tickets and avoid using their proximity to enter the stadium along with a huge number of their bodyguards.

In Quarter-final, game one will witness, Group A winner Rivercess County against Nimba at 2 pm while Lofa who also won Group C will take on Grand Bassa at 4 pm.
On Sunday, at 2 pm former winners, Margibi and Montserrado Counties will engage in quarterfinal three.
Bong County will take on Maryland County in the final quarter-final match at 4 pm.
